Thief is a purely rotational class that forgoes any non-+1 fights. Rotations are arguably the hardest part in sPvP to learn, and unlike other classes, if you cant rotate on thief, you are entirely useless. Eh, thief has cooldown management, its just in its utilities (but those are arguably the most important cooldown management in general).
Half of the pvp game is also understanding your counters, strengths, weaknesses, and your counterpart's counters, strengths, weaknesses and how to fight different classes and their respective builds. The good aspect about this is that there is always the potential for outplaying the enemy, even if the odds are stacked against you.
GW2. Best Open World Build. Celestial Firebrand. Guardian PvE. The Celestial Firebrand is the most versatile build and can perform pretty well as solo or with a group. With a wide array of tools it allows you to share many boons (including permanent quickness), healing and inflict high hybrid damage while having a very decent self sustain. With Pros: Healing turret is best group heal in the game, especially since you have so many blast finishers. Don't need pure DPS to be effective. Cons: No stability. Limited condi cleanse, unless you have the right traits. I_AM__Cthulhu HYPE • 9 yr. ago. Elementalist in WvW: pros: in theory, double cele ele has the best 2v2 potential, but there's often time limits to these things and people don't have 6 hours to watch two dd eles wear down whoever they're fighting. I don't really understand your last sentence, but 2v2 is very much still a skill based match. 5. TheBhawb • R.I.P. But of Corpse • 9 yr. ago.
RANDOMLY! And picking a class that can kill no matter what you face is impossible. You may play a Mesmer that can get past a Warrior's armor and dish out damage a Monk can't heal. However, if you face an Assassin that reaches you before you can cast and uses SPELLS instead of melee to kill you.
Weaver allows the Elementalist to attune to 2 elements at the same time, and skills 1-5 are decided based on both. Let's call them primary and secondary attunements. If you swap to. Fire Attunement. then fire becomes your primary attunement and weapon skills 1-2 will be fire skills. Afterwards if you switch to.
PvP Free to Play Builds. GW2. A complete guide on Free to Play builds for PvP. 2021. Guild Wars 2 PvP requires no leveling or gear to have the same opportunity to win because everything is normalized. For that reason it is a very good place for free to play players to test out whether they like the game or the class they are playing.
Best GW2 PVP Classes, Weakest to Strongest. Necromancer. Image: ArenaNet via HGG/Tyler Locke. Necromancer and its respective elite specs have been under-performing lately compared to other Revenant. Ranger. Engineer. Thief. Image: ArenaNet via HGG/Tyler Locke. Thief, my beloved. This class, with
Your options are: Any Sword/Dagger Ranger which is more or less just a condi build with mobility and evades.Any Sword/Dagger Thief though most people use Sword/Pistol or Pistol/Dagger or Dagger/PistolSword/Dagger Weaver which would be fun, but has a high skill ceiling.Sword/Dagger Spellbreaker which with Dagger 4 -> Sword 3 can spike people

As for low damage, PvP is basically the opposite of PvE: in PvE you want to throw out as much damage as possible before you blow up, whereas in PvP you want to prevent blowing up, while doing damage. Which means your focus is on staying alive rather than doing damage. 3.

That's where our Guild Wars 2 professions tier list comes in. In this tier list, we'll detail which professions are the best for each content type in the game, and there's quite a few. Depending on what type of content you're looking to do, then you may want a specific class at your disposal. This, basically. As others have said, GW2 isn't balanced around 1v1's. It doesn't really matter what build/profession you choose there will always be other builds/professions that give you a very hard time. Over all, I'd say Mesmers, Thieves, Necromancers and Rangers are best suited for 1v1's but that doesn't mean the remaining professions are
The games Balance is pretty solid per class, although just as any other game, there is always some top Meta builds/classes that will Outshine others in specifics scenarios. TLDR; games PvP is solid, SPVP is 5v5 with unranked and ranked. WvW is big maps with 3 servers fighting giant battles. Classes are solid overall with lots of builds n shit.
