ThanksFire, but no I'm not referring to just the acoustic indicator noise. All sounds within the car are not working. Indicator, seatblelt, ajar door etc. I did indeed consult the manual and even accessed the menu that controls volume. It was at 3 and I increased it to 5. No Dice Steve. Thanks also. The radio display does not show the board computer like in the old days so this might be a bit of a lost cause. i have not looked into the settings on the MDi so i can not say if there is anything to alter in it but to me its a glorified CanDi box for a Tech 2 :lol:
Ihave tried all the audio settings (fader, balance etc) but it is not being caused by these. Thefirst thing that you would want to do is locate the fuse for your Astra’s radiator fan and make sure that it hasn’t blown. If it is blown, replacing the fuse will only solve the problem for a very limited period of time. Unless the wiring issue is fixed, the fuse will blow again.
