Looking back, I am not sure how I did it then. A fever indeed. Anyway… when I am not writing, or thinking about writing, I am watching television and reading.

A Blast From My Past. December 13, 2023. I was wandering through the Land of the Streamers a few nights back, as I am wont to do sometimes, looking for a new series or an old movie that might pique my interest. So many streamers, so many choices, you never know what you’re going to run across.
Reading for Hugos. May 3, 2015. In my copious spare time (hoo-hah), I am continuing to work my way through the ballot for this years’s Hugo Awards. Just finished THE THREE-BODY PROBLEM, by Cixin Liu, originally written in Chinese and translated by Ken Liu. This was the novel that just missed in the original round of nominations, only to
A Rocket from Wisconsin. October 17, 2023. Back in March, we showed our short film NIGHT OF THE COOTERS at the Midwest Weirdfest festival in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and won the award for Best Science Fiction Short. The trophy was not ready at the time, but it is now, and the good folks in Eau Claire were kind enough to send it to us.

Random Bits of This and That. April 29, 2022. Lots of things going on. Good things, bad things, big things, small things. No time for a long blog post just now, but here are a few random comments about all and sundry, some of which may interest some of you. Looks like the Jets and Giants both did very well in the first round of the NFL Draft.
FIRE & BLOOD : On The Way. April 25, 2018. No, winter is not coming… not in 2018, at least. You’re going to have to keep waiting for THE WINDS OF WINTER. You will, however, be able to return to Westeros this year, as I suggested back over on Live Journal. Archmaester Gyldayn has at last completed and delivered the first half of his
The Pain, the Pain. Ah, the New York Giants. They made the playoffs last year, and even won a playoff game. This year they were supposed to take the next step forward. Hopes ran high. And the New York Jets. They just missed the playoffs last season, but they have a great defense, and they signed Aaron Rodgers in the off season. Hopes ran high.
