I just received my new Canon 24-70 2.8 L-II lens based on rave reviews about its sharpness across the entire range. Wow, it IS sharp, the sharpest lens I've EVER used. The dilemma is the awful vignetting, especially at 50mm.

All 3 above lens are sharp and have great color and contrast, But the good ol' Canon 28-70 2.8 has (MORE) contrast than the 24-70 & 24-105 Hands Down. The High Contrast I was getting from the 28-70 2.8 MM was nothing like I was getting from the 24-70 2.8 MM or the 24-105 4.0 MM.
